Course Outline:

Perform Stone Therapy Massage

• Consult with client and plan treatment

• Prepare for hot stone massage

• Perform hot stone massage

• Review treatment and provide post treatment advice

• Basic health and safety and cleanliness procedures

• Basic body anatomy

• Learn muscles types

The course provides participants with the skills to safely and effectively perform the technique of Hot Stone Therapy, following health and safety guidelines and working within contra-indications parameters.

Entry Advice: There are no pre-requisites for entry to this course. This course is great for someone who is new to the massaging industry. This course is also great for a massage therapist looking at updating their skills.

Entry requirements: There are no entry requirements to this certificate.

Qualification Title: Certificate of Attainment for Hot Stone massage, this training course is non-accredited but is equivalent with the highest standard of training to the (Statement of Attainment code: SIBBSPA504A Provide Stone Therapy massage, SIBBBOS401A Perform Body Massage)

Student Kit: There is no student kit for this course however, all linen and product to perform a massage is provided whilst attending the training school.

Student Optional Kits: Hot Stone Massage kit $249.95, includes 35pc Hot stone kit in wooden box and Hot stone Warmer.

Course Material: All notes for the course will be provided by the school, and a Hot Stone Manual.

Practical: Practical hands on will be completed throughout the duration of the course.

Students must be willing to receive treatments as well as practice unless a Doctors Certificate is provided.

Exams : Practical Performing Hot Stone Massage treatment.

Student Practical Work: Same day hands on assessment criteria, Performing Hot Stone Massage.
