Orders, Delivery, and Cancellations

At Salon Supplies and Furniture, we are committed to transparency and fairness in all transactions. The following policies apply to all purchases made through our store.

1. Order Processing

All orders require 1–2 business days for processing before dispatch.
Orders placed after 12:30pm AEST will be considered as received on the following business day.

Processing includes verification, stock allocation and preparation for dispatch.

 

2. Dispatch & Delivery

Once processed, orders are dispatched through third party delivery services.

Deliveries are door to door only and do not include

Bringing items inside the premises
Assembly of goods
Removal of packaging or rubbish

Third party couriers do not deliver large or bulky items up stairs, elevators, lifts or higher levels. They will deliver to ground level only. 

Delivery requests can be noted however it is at the discretion of the courier companies as to whether they follow requests. ie; not delivering Mondays, leaving next door etc. 

If you would like assistance with moving or assembly, Salon Supplies and Furniture can arrange a removalist upon request for an additional charge.

2. Pre-Orders

All items that are on backorder or pre-order will be specified in the product description. In the case that an order includes a pre-order item, the order will be sent together once all items are available - unless requested otherwise.

A small shipping fee is applicable to split the order and send separately.
Please contact sales@salonsupplies.net.au with your order number for early dispatch requests. 

3. Delivery Charges

Free delivery applies to all orders over $149 and under 5kg.
Orders over 5kg OR under $149 will incur a delivery fee.

SALON FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT IS EXCLUDED FROM FREE SHIPPING

At times, the online freight calculator may be inaccurate due to fluctuating shipping rates that do not automatically integrate with our platform. If this occurs, a sales representative will contact you to advise of any freight adjustments prior to dispatch.

Exclusions: A delivery fee applies to all orders containing Mila D'Opiz, Joiken, salon furniture and equipment, wax and bulky items.
A delivery fee also applies to all orders delivered to WA, TAS, or NT.
For furniture and equipment orders, a delivery fee is always applicable.

4. Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery timeframes begin once an order has been processed and dispatched. Our providers deliver Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Metro Delivery Estimates:

Sydney Metro: 1–3 business days
Brisbane Metro (including Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast): 1–2 business days
ACT Metro: 2–3 business days
Melbourne Metro: 2–3 business days
Adelaide Metro: 3–5 business days
Hobart Metro: 6–8 business days
Perth Metro: 7–10 business days
Darwin City: 7–10 business days
Alice Springs: 7–10 business days

5. Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be made before an order has entered the processing or dispatch stage.

Once an order is processed or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. This ensures accuracy and fairness across all customer orders.

6. Refunds & Returns

Refunds and returns will be processed in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (or relevant jurisdiction’s consumer protection laws).
Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details. Refunds will not be issued if items are damged during transit. Once the package has left our warehouse Salon Supplies is not responsible for any damage/loss.

7. Third-Party Payment Services (Afterpay, Zip, PayPal, etc.)

Customers paying via third-party providers are bound by both Salon Supplies and Furniture policies and the terms of the provider.
Disputes or reversals initiated through these services will be reviewed in line with our policies and the provider’s terms.

Please note: using a third party payment service does not override our cancellation or processing policies.

8. Policy Acknowledgment

By placing an order with Salon Supplies and Furniture, customers confirm they have read, understood and agreed to these policies.
