Course Outline
Practical Learning
Day 1: Introduction and Basics
- Morning: Introduction to cosmetic tattooing, its history, and industry regulations.
- Mid-Morning: Theory on skin anatomy, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Afternoon: Understanding color theory, pigment selection, and mixing.
- Evening: Designing techniques and hands-on practice.
Day 2: Advanced Theory and Practice
- Morning: In-depth theory on design principles, face mapping, and consultation.
- Mid-Morning: Practicing design and consultation with models or practice skins.
- Afternoon: Basic Business Core Principals - Building a business identity
- Evening: More hands-on practice with designing and color. Continuing practice on designing and pigment selection.
Day 3: Eyebrow Tattooing
- Morning: Theory on eyebrow tattooing, including ombré, powder, and combination styles.
- Mid-Morning: Live demonstration of different eyebrow tattooing styles.
- Afternoon: Hands-on practice with eyebrow tattooing techniques.
- Evening: Business Fundamentals - set up for success
Day 4: Lip Tattooing
- Morning: Theory and techniques for lip line tattooing.
- Mid-Morning: Theory on lip blush techniques.
- Afternoon: Live demonstration of lip line and lip blush tattooing.
- Evening: Hands-on practice with lip line and lip blush tattooing.
Day 5: Eyeliner Tattooing
- Morning: Theory and techniques specific to eyeliner tattooing.
- Mid-Morning: Live demonstration of eyeliner tattooing.
- Afternoon: Hands-on practice with eyeliner tattooing on practice skins or models.
- Role Play & Final Assessments
- Wrap up & Celebrations
Entry Requirements
PREREQUISITE infection control (we can arrange if required). (PRE-COURSE) Upon confirmation of enrolment, students will receive their Pre Course workbook which provides an overview of the course structure as well as theoretical foundation knowledge and critical concepts that will underpin and provide the necessary theory which will aid in-depth and step by step learning. Students must complete the activities and assessments included in the workbook as this will aid to demonstrate their level of understanding and provide trainers with additional insights. All pre learning activities within this booklet must be completed and submitted prior to the start of the Stage 2 practical learning modules.

SHADOW DAYS
Throughout the year we can schedule 1 day workshops which allow for any previous students to attend dedicated shadow days - the advantage of these days allow students to recap, watch, learn ask questions & solidify foundation skills they’ve learned throughout their course and been able to go away & put into practice within their own businesses.
