This unit students learn to gain the performance skills and knowledge required to perform the application of a range of artificial ultraviolet (UV) and LED light gel-based products.

 Course Outline

•             Learn how to perform a dry manicure & pedicure

•             Learn step by step how to apply gel polish on natural nails

•             Learn how to apply gel polish an a nail enhancement

•             Learn nail art, adding foiling, additives, glitter fades to the gel polish

•             Learn the application of a perfect French gel polish

The course will cover the theory and the practical requirements performing Gel Polish applications. Theory work will be completed in class utilising a work book manual.

Entry requirements:  No Pre-Requisites for this course. This can be a great course for qualified Nail technicians to update your gel polish skills and learn new techniques for nail art. Great upgrade service your manicures and pedicures.

Qualification Title:  Certificate of Attainment will be given for this short course, this training course is  non-accredited but is equivalent with the highest standard of training to the (Statement of attainment in SIB20210 Certificate II in Nail Technology – SIBBNLAS201A Work in a Nail Services Framework – SIBBNLAS202A Provide Manicure and Pedicure Services)

Student Kit: There is no set student kits for this course however, all materials, models will be supplied to perform these treatments whilst attending the training school.

Course Material: All notes for the course will be provided by the School, Nail Care manual booklet.

Students Practical Work: Practical work will be hands with models in class. Practical will be completed throughout the duration of the course.

Students must be willing to receive treatments as well as practice unless a Doctors Certificate is provided.
